Welcome to our home!!
Our names are Daisy and Oreo, two kittens born on 7/31/2024, and we welcome you to our luxurious San Francisco DINK lifestyle.
First things first, we have a few resources in case anything goes wrong. Our veterinarian is a 2 min walk away -- SOMA Animal Hospital. Phone number: (415) 727-9116You can take us in our carrier located on the shoe rack by the front door.
In case there is an after-hours emergency, our emergency veterinarian is a 5 min drive away -- SAGE Veterinarian Center. Phone number: (415) 566-0540
We are siblings and very bonded, so you will typically see us sticking together! Oreo tends to be very outgoing and adventurous, while Daisy is more reserved and cautious. We are sweet and very social with people, but are not the best with other pets yet, so please do not bring other animals into our home!
Both of us can sometimes act like little scavengers and may try to nibble on any food humans leave out. Because of our curious nature, please make sure to pick up any food you put out and don't leave food unattended for long periods (especially chocolate or caffeine!!). Sometimes we'll even go on the counter and sniff things in the sink, so if you cannot wash your dishes right away please flip your plates and glasses downward so we can't lick off scraps -- see below.
FOOD SCHEDULE
All our food (wet food, dry food, and our favorite treats!) are in the cupboard above the microwave. Please give us one can of wet food to share 2 times a day: once in the morning (anytime 7-9am) and once at night (anytime post 7pm). Each of us should get about half of the can each time.
Our automatic feeder for dry food will go off 2-3 times during the day at noon and our water will also refill itself. If you feel like we've been extra good, feel free to reward us with treats, but please limit to 2 Churrus per cat per day.
LITTER PROTOCOL
2 cats, 1 litter robot! Our robot friend is at the top of the staircase. In the rare event that one of us has an accident, there is a cleaning spray and paper towels in the loft near our litter bot for cleaning. In addition, it takes over a week for the bot to fill up - if our parents aren't home in time, the hatch underneath the robot slides out with the waste bin. Just replace the liner before putting the hatch back! The trash chute for our floor is down the hall on the left side, between apartments 608 and 611.
Our life is basically sleep, eat, play, repeat! If we are sleeping, we tend to be in our cat trees, or hide underneath the couch, under the table, or in the back of our parents' bedroom closet. If you'd like to play with us, there are plenty of feather toys on the bookcase to get us going!
THANK YOU AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO PLAYING WITH YOU SOON!!
